It takes a look so simple, rustic chairs, like that, are great because, first of all, the materials free I use a pallet for the seats and branches I cut out in the back for the rest of it, it's easy to build. It's quick to build and they're a fun project. Don't need a lot of woodworking skills for this and the tools you're going to need a hand, saw a drill, some sandpaper, and an ax. So what I want to do is I'm going to take the back one. What I want to be the back. I don't want to kind of get some pieces that play out and different. You know away from the sides to give it some character and I'm going to put those apart about as far as I think, I'm going to need them.
I'm going to take a smaller branch like this, and I'm just going to lay that out in between find my mark and use a prime Interop using a pencil. But what I'm going to do is kind of go along the profile of that of this piece here. So it's about the same angle: I'm not going to get real scientific about it now and then I'll start my cut once they got thou come over here. This is just a piece of one bite or a one and a half by three and a half screwing. My veg with a little backer board, so I can have a nice secure place to hold it. Now, that's going to be my first stretcher for the back now.
My second stretcher put that there and I'm going to add another stretcher, but I'm going to try to find one with a little a little bow in it. Looking like this, because that's going to actually be where I put my seat slats. So I'm going to go ahead and put that up about right. There yeah bout like that, and then I'm just going to mark along that profile again on both sides, try to get them pretty, even and then again I'll just cut those right. Now that I kind of I have these, where I want - and what I want to do is put two more stretchers in here, and these are what the slats on the back are going to sit on. But again I'm looking for a piece.
