We're really excited so this is your chair also yeah. I found this literally on the street in Brooklyn in my neighborhood, and I thought it was too cool to pass up. It's not really my style. There was a little a little grandma a little old, though, and feel it could be a really cool vintage piece. Um, I've been meaning to get it reupholstered. I just don't have the money. This has been kind of sitting. In my apartment I mean we don't have to reupholster, so we are going to paint this we're gonna paint fabric, we're going to paint the frame yeah.
It's going to be absolutely fantastic cool, so Lauren. I want to understand your style. I want to know a little bit about you. What is it that you like, I just like things to kind of go together? Maybe like a modern classic, I guess perfect, modern, classic side right. This will carry you through. Yes, so let's talk a little bit about colors. What kind of colors can you envision? So we thinking you want to do something a little bit more neutral, yeah, yeah neutral, I mean Gray's, taupe. Okay, pan makes a little bit of white in there yeah. What is the purpose of this chair? Where is it going to live in your home? Ideally, I would love for it to just be sort of a staple piece in my living room.
You know I could always use extra seating, absolutely New York apartment. We will do something that will live with you for a very long time, we're going to be using a fabulous paint, chalk paint or the share, and basically talking it, can be used on a multitude of different surfaces. We're going to use the same paint on a fabric that we use on the nail heads and as well, that we use on the wood, so it just goes and everything fabric, plastic, metal, brick, concrete glass, you name it and it's not going to crack not going To crack, no we're going to really water it down.
It's going to be more like we're dying, a fabric Wow. So it's just going to be fantastic. It's going to be nice and soft and, as I said to them or that you use it, the softer and more beautiful is going to get there. We go here. Irie have some old white here in my big bucket, and this is going to be the paint that we use on the fabric cool right and the report just a little bit of French linen in here and I'm not measuring.
