I actually got started once you go over the materials that I was going to be using with you guys and the prices for everything will be listed in the description box. So the first thing that you're going to need is some spray paint. I'm using crayons metallic brass: this is the color that I chose. I just got mom's one chance on Michaels and one chain from Jo-ann make sure you guys use that 20 % off coupons from Michael's, Hobby Lobby and Joann. I may also have like a 50 percent coupon to forgive now, you're, also going to need some Mod Podge for the glitter part and you're going to need some extra fine good.
I don't recommend using the chunky glitter make sure that you can extra fine. You can the bee. I chose this color because it matched the base with the spray paint. You may not need this, but it's easy to spray paint. If you have one of these little spray paint handles this, one is by Risto Liam's next you're going to need fabric of choice about mine from Joey about two yards of this grizzly faux fur fabric, and then you want to protect the area that you're working in So I got some newspaper from one of my co-workers, so let's go ahead and take this chair outside and get to work.
So here I'm just shaking the paint first like one to two minutes, and then I just go ahead and starting spraying. The legs you want to keep the paint can moving, do not concentrate your can and one area make sure they should keep it. Moving up and down motions side to side. Do not stop in my just hold it because you will get streaks and blotches, and all of that, so that's the best way to do it, make sure that you're paying attention to making sure that you get all the creases and crevices.
I make sure I get every angle of the chair, so there wouldn't be a spot left behind. Every part is not going to get glitter, but I do want every part to get the gold color so make sure that you're not missing spots like those little corners back of the chair and on the side and underneath in those little edges that I'm painting that Are like really tight make sure their Chi getting all of that and after that you'll be done, you don't even have to do two coats, one ko to be fine. So once you actually finish, spray-painting make sure that you go back and check your chair.
If you should have a smooth nice consistency like mine here, once you got your chair all day, you want to go ahead and grab your glossy Mod Lodge in your brush of choice. I'm going to pour about 1/3 of the container of Mod Lodge into this bowl and then I'm going to enter the entire container of glitter. Only one though - and you only need one for this - is enough for two coasts, so I'm just going to mix that up. Make sure that you don't have any chunks or anything like that and you're ready to paint the chair.
